• Is WAC fully accredited?

  Yes, our school is accredited by Cognia, one of the world’s largest accrediting bodies. All credit earned at Williamsburg Academy of Colorado is recognized by all other schools accredited by Cognia and most other accredited schools. More information can be found on our Accreditation page.

• Is it really free? What's the catch?

  Yes, 100% tuition-free for Colorado residents. We are a publicly funded, multi-district online school, funded by the state of Colorado — the same funding that follows your child to any public school. There are no hidden fees for curriculum, materials, or technology.

• What about socialization?

  Students participate in live group classes every day, building real relationships with peers and teachers. We also offer in-person Adventures courses, retreats, and co-op events throughout Colorado for students who want face-to-face community.

• What grades does WAC serve?

  We serves grades 6–12, including middle school (6th–8th) and high school (9th–12th). We also offer concurrent enrollment partnerships with several Colorado community colleges for high schoolers looking to earn college credit.
