WEEKLY PARENT UPDATESchool Sponsored Activities
Williamsburg Academy of Colorado hosts in-person activities throughout the school year with many of them open to family and/or guests! Registration is required for each event. Please check your email or the WAC Hub (in Canvas) to RSVP for the following Back-to-School activities in your area:
SW Colorado - Postponed to a later date. Rescheduling details will follow in a future Weekly Parent Update.
Denver- Friday, August 30 (Picnic dinner provided by WAC with unlimited boating and biking.)
Colorado Springs - Saturday, August 31 (Picnic lunch provided by WAC, water games, field games, and team-building activities for all to participate in!)
Northern Colorado - Saturday, August 31 (TBD)
Grand Junction - Saturday, September 7 (Enjoy snacks provided by WAC, lawn games, and a performance.)

Parent & Student Handbook
The Parent & Student Handbook contains answers to most questions parents have about our school and online learning. We encourage all parents and students to refer to this handbook as questions arise throughout the school year.

Laptop Handbook
If your student borrows devices from Williamsburg Academy of Colorado, the Laptop Handbook is required reading for both you and your student. In this handbook, you will find our Acceptable Use policy, parent and student responsibilities, log-in instructions, basic troubleshooting tips, and more.

Mental Wellness Resource Handbook
Our Mental Wellness Resources document includes general information on behaviors and mental health, as well as hotline numbers and other resource links.

Absence Request Form
Is your student going to be absent due to a planned trip or adventure? Have they missed past days because of illness or emergency?
If your student has had an unplanned absence or plans to be absent, please complete the Williamsburg Learning Absence Form.For unplanned absences, this form must be submitted within two weeks of the absence.
For planned absences, please submit this form at least one week before the planned absence (preferably one month in advance). We will notify all your students’ mentors of the upcoming absence.

Do you wish to withdraw your student(s) from WAC?
If you want to withdraw your student(s) from WAC, please complete the Williamsburg Learning Withdrawal Form for each student you wish to withdraw.Our team will review your request and contact you with any further details.
