SMS Terms & Conditions

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Williamsburg Academy, Williamsburg Family of Schools, and Williamsburg Learning, you agree to the following terms. Phone numbers and SMS consent collected for the purpose of sending text messages will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Your mobile information is used solely to send you the SMS communications described below and will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any outside party for their own marketing use.

Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us and the type of communication (for example, appointment reminders vs. general updates). Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan.

You provide consent to receive SMS messages by submitting your phone number through one of our website forms, chatbot, event registration, or other request for information or support, and checking a box or otherwise affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages from Williamsburg. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or enrolling in any Williamsburg program.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying 'STOP' to any text message you receive from us. Once you reply STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will not receive further SMS messages from that number unless you opt back in by typing 'START'. If you need assistance at any time, reply HELP to any text message, or contact us directly: at 800-200-6869 or privacy@williamsburglearning.com

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

By opting in, you may receive text messages related to:

  • General marketing texts (news, promotions, and updates about Williamsburg programs)
    • Example message: "Still looking for a dynamic education that fits your unique family lifestyle? We are here to help you see if we’re the right fit. Schedule a call with us to discuss your options today"
  • Appointment reminders, enrollment and registration follow-ups
    • Example message: "Your consultation with Sarah is today at 3PM. Sarah will send you a text from their number before your call, so you’ll be able to recognize it. We look forward to speaking with you about upcoming enrollment opportunities at Williamsburg Academy!"
  • Parent and customer support (e.g., attendance, coursework, or account updates)
    • Example message: "This is Sarah from WAC. Do you have time to chat tomorrow regarding summer school and your plan to graduate?  I also have time Thursday if needed.  Reply STOP to opt out."
