Activity Details:

WAC families are invited to bundle up and join us for a fun, high-energy morning at the 2026 Colorado Springs Polar Plunge & 5K! This in-person community event offers two ways to participate, so everyone can get involved in a way that works best for them.

Ways to Participate

Option 1: Volunteer
Support the event by volunteering—no fundraising required.

Option 2: Join the WAC Team
Participate in the 5K, the Polar Plunge, or both as part of the WAC team.

• 🧊 Polar Plunge: Free to participate
  • Option to “hibernate” or attend and cheer on participants
• 🏃 5K Run: Additional $35 registration fee

Special Olympics asks participants who register on the WAC team to fundraise:

• $80 per person, or
• $50 per student
