Dear WAC Families,
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to personally thank you for a wonderful year of partnership and growth. It’s been an honor to work alongside you in supporting your student’s learning journey, and I’m truly inspired by the determination and progress I’ve seen from so many of our students this year.
Final exams take place next week, and I know this can be a busy time at home. A few helpful reminders: encourage your student to review their Canvas course pages for final exam details, set a focused study schedule, and reach out to their mentors with any last-minute questions or support needs. Our mentors are incredible guides—committed not just to academic success, but also to providing encouragement and guidance as students finish strong.
Finally, we are thrilled to be celebrating our first in-person graduation next Friday in Denver with our seniors and their families—what a meaningful milestone! It takes determination, resilience, and grit to be a graduate of WAC! We are so proud of all our seniors have accomplished and wish them the very best as they begin their next adventure—wherever it may lead.
This will be our final Weekly Parent Update for the school year, so from the WAC team to you and your family, thank you for being such an important part of the WAC community. Wishing you a joyful, adventurous, and restful summer in beautiful Colorado!
Warmly,
Heidi Mitchell
Executive Director, Williamsburg Academy of Colorado

Dear WAC Families,
We have many exciting end-of-year events coming up, and we want to make sure every student can join the fun! To participate in any in-person activities, all students must have a completed waiver on file.
If you haven’t done so yet, please take a moment to complete the In-Person Activities Waiver for your student. Be sure to follow every step—including the final email verification—to ensure it’s submitted successfully.
Thank you for your attention and support. We’re excited to celebrate a wonderful school year together!
