Weekly Parent Update

October 31, 2025

Dear Williamsburg Academy of Colorado Parents,

As we head into the final days of October, I know many of our Williamsburg Academy of Colorado (WAC) students are feeling the excitement of the season—and maybe a little extra sugar in the air! Whether your family celebrates Halloween or simply enjoys the change of seasons, this time of year is a great reminder to bring some fun and motivation into learning.

So here’s a little “treat” from us—no tricks involved! Visit our Parent Video Library for quick, practical videos on topics like supporting your student through the 3-Step Parent Program, building motivation, and developing willpower. These are great tools to help your student stay focused and finish the semester strong.

Wishing everyone a safe and fun weekend!

Warmly,

Heidi Mitchell

Executive Director, Williamsburg Academy of Colorado

Action Items

Daylight Saving Time Reminder: Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends this Sunday, November 2. Since Colorado observes DST, your student’s class schedule will remain the same, but clocks at home may need adjusting. Remind your student to adjust any personal clocks or alarms so they’re on time and ready to learn on Monday!
