Williamsburg Parent Update

April 3, 2026

Dear Williamsburg Academy Parents,

Spring is a wonderful time of year, filled with new life, fresh energy, and exciting possibilities. Although my hay fever returns each year, I still enjoy watching plants bloom and the grass change from winter brown to green. As we see this season of growth unfold, it’s a great reminder for students to stay motivated and finish strong.

With April now here, we also want to remind you that the end of the semester is quickly approaching. The final day of the semester—and the last day to submit any assignments—is Friday, May 22. I encourage students to take advantage of Mentor Office Hours and Study Labs, which provide valuable support as they complete their coursework and prepare for the end of the term.

I'm pleased to share that registration is now open for our Self-Paced and Independent Study summer courses. These options offer a flexible way for students to continue learning and stay on track during the summer months, and they are also a great opportunity for students to catch up if they did not pass a class.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions as we head into this busy and exciting time of year.

Best Regards,

John Forsythe

Headmaster, Williamsburg Academy

High school students can choose from a wide range of core courses, electives, and world language courses, while 8th-grade students have select options, including Intro to High School Math and world language courses (available with registrar approval).
