Students get to meet their school leaders, learn how their online classes work, and knock out their Canvas Orientation Assignments + Benchmarks—all before live classes begin.

Follow these 4 steps for a
successful first week of school!

 

STEP 1: Review The Success Week Schedule

Before Success Week, parents will receive an email with the Zoom links for live Orientation and Tech Support Rooms. Students will also receive the same links in Canvas the Friday before Success Week.

Be sure to check your inbox so your student is ready to join.

Get Ready | Thursday-Friday, August 6-7

Support Room Open

Drop in for tech setup on things such as issues with SIS, Canvas, and school-issued computer login.

Live Online Orientation

Note: All students need an SIS login to fully participate in live Orientation. If your student is new, go to Step 2 to help them create one.

Getting Started in Canvas | Friday, August 14

Getting Started Module

Students work through the Getting Started module in each of their courses.

*All students are strongly encouraged to attend, regardless of Benchmark status. Students who are not required to participate in Benchmarks will be dismissed during that portion of the events.

 

STEP 2: Create Your Student's SIS Account

Is your student new? Set up their account!

Every new student needs an SIS account before Success Week begins. Without it, they won't be able to participate in live Orientation, log in to Canvas, or access the Engageli links for their live online classes.

(Note: If your student is returning or has already created their own SIS account, skip ahead to Step 3.)

STEP 3: Log in to Canvas

Canvas is where students can join their classes, see course materials, and complete their Orientation assignments and Benchmark Assessments.

Please choose your school below to make sure your student can log in!

Note: Each student's Canvas login is the same as their SIS login.

We can't wait to welcome your student to Live Online Orientation on August 10-11 at 9:00 AM MT!

Watch your inbox for an email with the Zoom links for each day's event. If you need assistance, virtual Tech Support Rooms will be available August 6-11.
