Weekly Parent Update – December 16, 2022

December 15, 2022

We have had a fantastic first semester, and we hope it’s been transformational for your student. As we complete finals and head into the winter break, now is a great time for your student to reflect on all their hard work and take some time to rest and rejuvenate with family. We are so grateful for each of you and the educational journey we are on together: preparing promising students for meaningful lives as principled leaders.

I want to finish my message to you this year by sharing some Transformational Learning Experiences (TLEs) students shared with me. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

“My TLE has been this entire semester. It has been so amazing, and I have loved every bit of Leadership class this year! I am so glad I was able to do it. From the first day till today, I have been excited to learn about relationships and how I can improve mine with other people. I have been able to improve my relationships with many friends, including those in my class! I can’t wait till next semester (when I) can learn more” – Isaac, 10th grade.

“Leadership Class has helped me be more in tune and more self-aware of others around me. I am capable of changing myself and how I approach others in a more positive and uplifting way. This class has left me with many new ways of thinking and better ways to see the world. This has helped me reflect and have more open discussions with my friends and family” – Brenton, 10th grade.

It inspires me to see students having such life-changing experiences at Williamsburg Academy.

Wishing you and yours a fantastic Christmas and a glorious New Year!
