Course Details
Williamsburg is excited to partner with Learning Brave to offer current Williamsburg 8th-12th grade students a five-day, four-night retreat focused on character, leadership, and personal growth through hands-on adventure.
Led by someone your student already knows
The retreat is directed by Ross Gilbert, a longtime Leadership mentor at Williamsburg. Many Williamsburg online mentors will also be there, along with experienced Learning Brave adventure staff. Students will be supported by people they already know and trust from class, so you can feel confident sending them.
More than a summer camp
There are plenty of summer camps. This one is built around Williamsburg. The retreat takes the leadership principles students learn in their Williamsburg classes and puts them into practice. Students go from discussing courage, character, and teamwork online to living them out together in person.
Transportation Information
This retreat is held in Colorado at Glacier View Ranch. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the venue.
For out-of-state students flying into Denver International Airport, Learning Brave will help coordinate airport transfers to and from the retreat location for an additional estimated cost of $80–$100. Mentors will be present for airport pick-up and drop-off.
For full transportation details and additional retreat information, please visit the official Learning Brave Retreat page.
