Our Approach
You want your student to develop clear, confident problem-solving skills as they engage with mentor-led instruction, real-life applications, and classical math thinking that strengthens their reasoning for both daily life and college readiness.
New for 2025-26, we’re taking math learning to the next level with Derivita, a cutting-edge math platform that supports real understanding and provides step-by-step feedback. Derivita helps students learn from mistakes and build confidence. It also gives mentors real-time insight into student strengths, smarter quizzes that close skill gaps, and tools to personalize each learning journey.
Preparatory Math Courses (Eligible for high school elective credit, not high school math credit)
Intro to HS Math: A, B
Integrated High School Math Pathway (Recommended)
After years of guiding students along the traditional math pathway (Algebra 1 > Geometry > Algebra 2), we noticed that many of them would reach Algebra 2 with little retention of the algebra concepts they learned in their first year. For that reason, our flagship math program is now an integrated path (or track) where students study algebra and geometry together for two years (High School Math 1 and High School Math 2). They are then fully primed for High School Math 3 (also called Algebra 2) and beyond.
High School Math: 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B
Pre-Calculus: A, B
Calculus: A, B (self-paced only)
Traditional High School Math Pathway
If your student has already started along the traditional math pathway and completed part of Algebra 1 or Geometry before coming to Williamsburg, we offer self-paced traditional math courses to smooth the transition to the integrated track and live math courses. Students can continue on the traditional math pathway via self-paced courses or use self-paced courses to transition to the integrated track. Please see the chart below to know which course your student should take to make this transition.
Algebra: 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B (self-paced only)
Geometry: A, B
Pre-Calculus: A, B
Calculus: A, B (self-paced only)
Traditional (offered SP) to Integrated Track (offered Live)
