Middle School Algebra 1 B

In what profound ways is the natural order, structure and the relationships in the universe revealed through math? How deeply can I grow in my ability to think rationally and to order my world by using my math brain in daily math practice?

Why Take This Course?

Algebra is like arithmetic, but with variables instead of numbers. Those who understand the fundamentals of algebra––especially how to manipulate equations––have an advantage over those who do not. Algebra trains the brain to think logically, and teaches the skill of identifying the variables and constants in math. This skill has broader application in life. Algebra 1A and 1B are basic high school algebra courses that prepare students to study geometry and advanced algebra.
