This is an intensive, one-week course designed to help you master Middle School! This course will help you read faster and understand more, even in challenging books. You will learn how to prepare for class and how to make the most out of class time. You will learn techniques to transform your study time into crazy awesome learning sessions, and you’ll actually remember what you learn. You will learn the technology skills you need to succeed in Middle School, and you will learn how to get the help you need when you run into walls. In short, this class will give you all the skills you need to rock Middle School.

Speed Reading for Dummies by Richard Sutz
2 - 3 books you wanted to read this summer.
2 - 3 large print books (available at your local library in the large print section, or some chapter children's books are ok if there are not too many pictures)
Other Required Materials: Please bring all of the following to class each day.  
Notebook for note-taking
Pencil or pen
Working web-cam and microphone
