Why Take This Course?
Most health classes focus on developing and maintaining a healthy body through proper rest, safety, nutrition, and exercise. Although we believe these are fundamental aspects of health, we believe that true health is a reflection of a healthy body, mind and spirit. Therefore, this class also focuses on healthy communication and relationship skills involving parents, friendships, dating and the proper use of technology. We discuss the power of taking personal responsibility, living in gratitude and developing and maintaining a positive mindset. This course arms students with the tools they need to live a healthy and empowered life.
