Law & Order: Introduction to Legal Studies

We live in a society governed by the rule of law. Our legal system is a process, in which a variety of participants help to shape new laws, clarify old laws, and ensure that no one’s rights are violated in the process. Learn how new laws are made, and who is responsible for making them. Learn about how laws are enforced via the court system. And finally, learn the foundational principles that guide our entire legal system in a variety of fields.

By understanding the workings of our court system and how laws are carried out, we become more informed and responsible citizens of our communities and our nation.
