How do you teach and learn PE and Health online? All our PE and Health courses are designed so that students can do their workouts at home or in their local community, and report their progress in our learning management system. Our PE courses also include videos, assignments, and projects.
In addition to online PE and Health courses, we have a popular outdoor program that features our signature outdoor course, Elevation.
In Williamsburg’s Physical Health and Education program, we believe that you were meant to be fit. Whatever your challenges or disabilities, fitness can and should be attained by all–especially by those who aspire to lead in the homes, businesses and societies of the future. But how do you do it? What are the fundamental principles of fitness that you can learn and apply for a lifetime? What are the secrets to sticking to it, and seeing results that last?
In this program, students engage in challenges, competitions, personal assessments, individual and group accountability programs, and establish fitness rhythms that help them succeed. Under the direction of a physical health mentor, students’ lives change as they grow stronger, lighter, more confident, more grateful, healthier and more fit!
Health is an integral part of a balanced life. We believe that each individual has a unique mind, body, and spirit. Learning to be grateful for and take care of oneself is a core life lesson. This is why our health class is called Mind and Body Stewardship. The bookwork, principles, and strategies we teach help students develop the knowledge, habits and values that ensure physical, mental and emotional health.
